# Chambr API

> Send finished sales calls (transcript required) to Chambr to be scored. The API returns an id, a status and an app_url; it never returns scores. Base URL: https://api.staging.chambr.ai/v1 (alias https://app.staging.chambr.ai/api/v1, identical). Auth: Authorization: Bearer chambr_sk_... (created by a Chambr admin).

Rules an integration must follow:
- (provider, external_id) is the idempotency key: retrying POST /v1/calls is always safe.
- Use a client timeout of at least 60 s on POST /v1/calls.
- Retry 429 and 503 after Retry-After, 500 and network errors with backoff; never retry other 4xx unchanged.
- Send transcript.rep_speaker and call_type when you know them.
- rep is optional, but a rep you send must be the rep's Chambr login email.
